MarteLIVE

On 12 and 13 December , The Total Show returns , the great event curated and conceived in 2001 by Giuseppe Casa as a total spectacle in which all the arts and the artists who represent them enter into an empathetic synergy.

Alongside over 30 national and international guest artists (including  Clap Clap, Godblesscomputers, Daniela Pes, Meg, Casino Royale, Ivan Talarico , DJ Gruff&Alice Pasquini , Sabrina Paravicini, Giulio Armeni di Filosofia Coatta, Eleonora Frascati, the Compagnia Penelope and Uscite d 'Emergenza,  the street artists Solo, Diamond, Napal and Moby Dick ), more than 300 emerging artists will be the protagonists of the two evenings, finalists of the MArteLive contest for the macro-area of Central Italy, who will then participate in the BiennaleMArteLive in October 2024.

The contest, curated by Nadia Di Mastropietro and part of the "Together We Are Art" project created by Città Metropolitana di Roma Capitale and ATCL and supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Lazio Region , will therefore see the finalist artists perform in a fusion of music, shows and live performances of theatre, dance and contemporary circus, exhibitions of painting and live painting, photography, projections, installations, readings, street-art, which will mix together to create Lo Spettacolo Totale, the beating heart of MArteLive, sharing the stage together with big artists guests of the event.

On the ground floor of the Qube, the young talents under 35 finalists of the Music/Dance/Creative Crafts/Fashion/Videoart sections will alternate over these two days , while outside there will be live performances by the finalists of the Street Art section ; on the first floor, however, the new finalist talents of the Theater/Literature/Cinema/Photography/Sculpture/Graphic Illustration/Video clip/DJ Producer sections will perform , while on the top floor, alongside the big music guests, there will be a dedicated room entirely to live painting , the flagship of the MArteLive format, in a sort of large artist's studio in continuous creation.

Each artistic section of the MArteLive contest has a quality jury , made up of leading experts in the specific sector, who will examine the works of the young artists by expressing a vote which will be added to the online votes of the popular jury. The winners of each section will then participate in the BiennaleMArteLive 2024.
The finalists of this phase of the MArteLive contest were selected from hundreds of entries by a team of expert curators and young talent scouts of emerging artists including Nadia Di Mastropietro and Federica Fabrizi for the section visual arts (painting, photography, sculpture, graphics, street art), Roberta Frenquelli for the dance section, Alessandra Merico for the Theater and Literature sections, Francesco Caroselli for the music section, Tommaso Taroni for the Dj Producer section, Manuela De Santis for the Fashion and creative crafts sections, Chiara De Angelis for the cinema and video clip sections and Daniele Falchi for the video art section.
