At  Eataly Rome  the month of September is all inspired by the history of cinema. Every week, from the 1st to the 28th of the month, 10 years of films are the backdrop to the culinary proposals: starting from Hollywood on the Tiber in the 50s and 60s, passing through the 70s and 80s up to suggestions science fiction visionaries.

The dishes are of cinematic inspiration: at the Pane ‘ino restaurant you can find the sandwich ” Pane amore e fantasia “like the film of the same name, at the Fratelli Maioli piadineria you can taste the piadinacon raw “Casa Graziano” 20 months, squaquerone Mabelli and rocket , in homage to Fellini’s Amarcord. And then again the pizza in the booklet at the fried restaurant with tomato sauce and Grana Padano Dop and the “grandfather Leopoldo’s English soup” at the Roman Osteria Cacciani from the film  Il piccolo diavolo.

As a side dish to the culinary-cinematographic event, there is a gallery of shots dedicated to Nino Manfredi  10 years after his death and an area dedicated to fashion and the design of accessories to tell half a century of cinema, in which stylists and artisans alternate every week. They range from the Roman salons of AB haute Couture in which the Valentino dress by Livia Giuggioli Firth was sewn for the night of the 2012 Oscars, to the models of the young people of the Koefia Fashion Academy, from the ethical collection of Marina Spadafora for Auteurs du Monde / Another market for the sustainable Belt Bag / Occhio del Riciclone brand.

On 28 September at 6 pm the clothes on display will come to life on the  green catwalk of Eataly. The clothes on display are accompanied by the green accessories of the creatives of the Roman scene, with the PET plastic designs by Alecci and Di Paola and by Alter Equo, with the eco-tech jewels of By Ludo and the ‘filmic’ ones of PAGE Diamania; with bags made from leather scraps by 2Heads4Hands and vintage hand-painted ones by Marina Santaniello. And again the Belt Bags of the homonymous brand, made with the safety belts of cars.
